Does more children = more food stamps? The people mentioned in this article all have 4,5, or 6 kids. At what point does a person realize that I am struggling financially and should not bring another mouth to feed into the world?

I think there should be more foodstamps given, at least for awhile, I just can't see letting a kid suffer because their parents are irresponsible. I do think that if it gets to 3+ kids, if the parent is making no effort to get a job or just not caring enough to get a better job, then the kids should be taken away until they do.

Never thought I would say this, but you do make a point there, but only if the parents are able to work, not if they are truly disabled.

Yeh but you can feed a kid a healthy diet for less than what they get alot buy junk

I would not want to see children suffer eather BUT I am able to shop for my famley of 4 for just under $500 a month and while I do watch what I buy me and my kids are far from starving not real sure if food stamps or WIC type checks would be the better option for this kind of thing
